This Whole Grain Hot Cereal Breakfast recipe are a simple crowd-pleaser and can easily become a staple in your kitchen.

Whole Grain Hot Cereal Breakfast

Ingredients

½ cup of cereal grains (millet, sorghum, buckwheat and rice for example)
1 ¾ cup of water or plant based milk
Coconut oil to keep things non-sticky
1 dash Cardamom
¼ tsp Cloves
½ tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp Vanilla
Fresh fruit (peaches, apples and pears work well)
Orange zest

Instructions

Add all ingredients except for fruit into a pot and heat on medium heat for about 10 minutes until cereal is cooked. 
Remove from heat and add fruit and a little maple syrup if you’d like to sweeten it up a little more.
