This Delicious Kale Pesto recipe are a simple crowd-pleaser and can easily become a staple in your kitchen.

Kale Pesto

Ingredients

3 cups of kale (remove stems)
1 cup basil (remove stems)
1 clove of garlic
1 handful of raw almonds
1 green onion chopped
1 juice of 1 lemon freshly squeezed
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
Sea salt

Directions

Make the pesto: Add garlic and almonds into a food processor and pulse 6-8 times. Add in kale, basil, green onion, and nutritional yeast and blend until smooth. Add in 3 teaspoons of lemon juice and alternate adding in teaspoons of water and lemon juice until you have the consistency you want.

Cook the pasta (optional): Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add your desired pasta noodles. Cook until al dente or follow the package directions.

Assemble: Place the cooked pasta into a serving bowl or plate and top with the kale pesto. Add basil for garnish and enjoy!
