This Lentil Taco recipe are a simple crowd-pleaser and can easily become a staple in your kitchen.

Lentil Taco

Ingredients

1 cup dried lentils
1 cup vegetable broth
1 clove minced garlic
1 cup onion, chopped
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

In a large saucepan boil vegetable broth with onion, garlic and lentils for 20-30 min until lentils are soft. Drain any excess water and add in spices until mixed evenly.

You’re now ready to fill your tacos shells with your favourite ingredients. Some of my favourites are: Spanish rice, guacamole, salsa, cilantro, black beans and kale slaw.
